I’ve had emails and comments from young artists, and spoken to a number at art fairs and shows. This poster, which popped up on the Twitter feed of Urban Arts Toronto, wrapped up many of the things I’ve heard mentors say. I’m no mentor. I’m just a blogger. But it begged to be posted, as inspiration to all the beginners out there.
Urban Arts Toronto is a not-for-profit centre that offers arts programs to youth in its surrounding community.

Love that
Agree, it’s very well worded, no? (in love with your silkscreens!) Thanks for the comment.
This is great. I wish someone had said all those things to me when I was a young, hopeful artist. I guess better late than never!
Better late than never is right, and it also applies to things like writing. Thanks for visiting.
