Roberta Chang’s last year at Emily Carr University of Art & Design included this fascinating public work. The 2012 graduate was one of a dozen students who freshened electrical boxes in downtown Vancouver with art.

I just love public art like this. Not only is it fun to look at, but it shows a city’s commitment to art and artists. One of our local city areas has brightly painted public garbage cans. It’s common, I guess, but they are really pretty. 🙂
I agree, and I think it’s terrific that the City of Vancouver paired up with the students.
