Peter Ewart’s horses in the mountains

The late Canadian painter Peter Maxwell Ewart (1918-2001) is well known for his depictions of the Cariboo country of British Columbia and the Rockies, including these paintings of working horses in the mountains. His career was extensive, with over 40 solo exhibitions in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K.
