The Art Gallery of Ontario’s Her Flesh exhibition – on through March 23, 2023 – is an installation of 16 works from the gallery’s collection that invite visitors to “consider how modern and contemporary women artists have used their intimate knowledge of their own bodies to inform their depictions of the feminine.”
Videos, paintings, photos and sculpture are by artists Jess Dobkin, Alma Duncan, Janieta Eyre, Nina Levitt, Francis Loring, Mary Pratt and Florence Wyle. offering a unique vision of the female body in 20th-century art.
