This beautifully executed pencil and ink rendition of a herd of caribou is on offer from Feheley Fine Arts, one work in a collection of Inuit pieces showcased at the Outsider Art Fair in New York (through March 31).
Feheley says the artist, newcomer Quvianaqtuk Pudlat, is a “keen observer of nature and a hunter, he intimately understands the physical characteristics, musculature of movement, and behaviours of Arctic wildlife. ” Above, a 2018 work now held at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

Absolutely stunning!
I have a deep love of Inuit prints . . . the stylized bird in the logo for this site is by the revered Kenojuak Ashevak. There are thousands of examples via Cape Dorset Fine Arts on Baffin Island, a cooperative of artists from the Arctic.
The Caribou is so well done! Lovely!
Thanks so much for your comment, and I so agree.
Wonderful.
Beautiful caribou.
