Bob Roberts

The Mui Collection is thought to be the largest collection of original tattoo art by the world’s most accomplished tattoo artists. It’s up for auction at Guernsey’s in New York this week. For over 15 years, designer and musician Peter Mui sought out top tattoo masters of every style. (Click on images to see more about each one) More than 1,000 original works on canvas, board and paper are on offer by such noteworthy artists as Japan’s Horiyoshi III, Horitomo, and Horitoyo; Swiss artist Filip Leu; Spain’s tattoo realist Robert Hernandez; Biomechanical tattoo pioneers Guy Aitchison and Aaron Cain; and tribal tattoo artist Roger Ingerton.

  1. Luv it all! I haven’t even 1 tat, but it is a captivating art form. Much Street Art resembles tattoos and vice versa!
