David Thauberger has become internationally known for his paintings of the architecture and cultural icons of Saskatchewan.
He is on exhibition in Endless Summer at Slate Gallery in Regina through Dec. 2.
Thauberger was among a number of artists at the University of Saskatchewan mentored by sculptor David Gilhooly, who encouraged them to create art rooted in their own life experience and geographical region.
Thauberger has been capturing the heart of what it means to be from Saskatchewan for decades.
