I come from the land of lakes and forests, snowy winders and hot summers also known as Lithuania. Pigeons and fermented foods are high on my list of favorite things, although they’d only make up a teeny layer of icing on the tip of my inner iceberg.
Apple Inc. commissioned Tiurina to create a piece using tools unfamiliar to her: an iPad pro and recently released Apple pencil. She says this work, The Invitation, was her response.
