It’s been five years since I first posted on sculptor Werner Arnold, whose intricately carved wooden works are washed with brilliant colour. This is one of his newest pieces, showing at Gallery 78 in Fredericton, N.B. It’s called Fish Walking or Evolution, 2016, pine and acrylic, 13″ x 14″ x 4″ / Below: Next Move, 16″ x 16″
Werner Arnold was born in Switzerland and immigrated to Canada at 22. He is widely recognized for his unique and original style of modernist sculpture and for his technical virtuosity. He has explored various themes, including masks and carnivals, the circus and animal worlds, mythology and medieval imagery.

Like some street arts, only in 3D! I like it! I’ve only got 10 days left in Kids’ Month, but it would be nice if I could fit this in!
You’re welcome to use. Your instincts on kids month are terrific. Making all the posts a treat!
