Goody-B Wiseman’s Feral Dream Tigers

goody1

Canadian trained artist Goody-B Wiseman’s Dream Tigers are wild but delicate.  The miniature sculptures fit in the palm of a hand. Wiseman works in bronze to explore the mythical “feral child.” (Above: Hidden, Edition of 20)

The Maine-based artist, a NSCAD grad, casts figures in a state of “in-betweenness,” the Katharine Mulherin gallery says. She catches them between nature and culture, wild and tamed, beautiful and the grotesque.
