Time for some art whimsy. Montreal graphic designer Simon Laliberté makes these mustaches and goatees by combining two brushes inside his face-painted packaging. Some of the paintbrushes are dyed for variation. See some of his other projects on Behance, here. (If you don’t read French, ‘Poilu’ means hairy.)

Love these! They are simple, clean and really funny.
Yes, I agree. The humorous faces really make these work, don’t they?
I very much enjoy your blog and have nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award : )
Hi Allison – Thank you for the nomination, I really appreciate it. Leaving a longer message on your blog. I’m honored.
Interesting stuff. I follow Wanderlust and she put me onto your blog. I am here in Shanghai and she told me about a gallery and gave me a link to see what it was all about. I went to the Magda Danyz this weekend to see the exhibit. I went to see the photos of the Shanghai Totems (bikes piled high) but found a few other very cool artisits and things. No time to post this weekend, so I shall talk about it and some of the art next weekend when I post. Hope you will check it out. CTB 😀
Hi – Thank you so much for introducing me to your blog. And I’m looking forward to reading the post about the Totems (er, the art you discovered when you went to see the totems that is). I’m glad you connected here. (Thank you to TWLG!)
Great should post it next Sat/Sunday 🙂
Thanks for coming over.
These are fun!!! 🙂
Exactly, might even try it (or at least a version I could handle).
Love it!
Knew you would!
A most unusual.. yet fascinating form of art…
No kidding it’s unusual, but love the faces.
that is too cute!
Agreed. Makes you want to go get one, doesn’t it?
These are wonderful! I bet there are thousands of artist/designer types thinking ‘I wish I’d thought of that!’
Great point. I’ll bet you’re right!
