David Hockney’s iPad animated Christmas trees

British artist David Hockney has unveiled two digitally animated Christmas trees projected onto the 328-foot-tall chimneys of London’s Battersea Power Station. Titled Bigger Christmas Trees, the project was created on an iPad and features 10 minutes of animation.

Hockney’s festive trees first lit up at the renovated London power station, home to Apple’s new UK headquarters, on Dec. 1 and will run every day through the evening, until Christmas.
