The photo art in Irene Seay’s current exhibition was shot on slide film over a 10-year period but had never been exhibited until her current show, part of the Toronto Contact Photography Festival.
The textures, colours and reflecting surfaces in Seay’s work “arise from an intentional state of mind–a meditative one, ” she says. “Ordinarily, the eye sees what it expects to see, what it wants to see, or what it has been trained to see.” These works invite a different view.
The exhibition – Piece of Mind – runs through June 16, 2016 at District Oven.
Irene Seay is based in Prince Edward County.

Same here – the image isn’t here. I’ll go check the home page.
Fixed, and thank you for pointing it out.
It’s odd, but the pic didn’t resolve on this page. It did on your front page. I like it!
Fixed now, thank you for noting. Not sure what happened. A weird glitch.
