This exquisite shot by Neil Ta reflects a block of the Bay Street financial district of Toronto, vertically, in the foreground building. He’s a roof topper, a daredevil photographer who travels up to shoot down.
The photo practice is widely catching on, and The Toronto Star just published a piece about its aficionados, a good opportunity to post some of Ta’s work from the heights of this city.

Especially like the first photo. This is something I couldn’t do, I would be clinging to the edge with one hand and my camera in the would be over the edge and I would be shooting down blind. Don’t like heights that much but I still enjoy the views.
I would never even get to the rooftop! I can’t imagine the nerve it takes to do this. Thanks for stopping by.
Love this. Perspective and angles are my favorites.
Yes, I’m with you on that. This photographer has a great eye.
Great art in photo; especially the vblack and white that creates another art totally different inside my head. Cool!!!!
I was trying to say magnificent, but it posted half way through my correction. 😀
Either way you say it, I agree completely!
Great, great photos. I almost feel a little queasy looking at them. Magnificinet. 🙂
Abandonment is such a great word for this. Thanks.
Creativity and abandonment it’s amazing what people do!
Amazing !
It surely is amazing. Those shots of standing and sitting on the edge are particularly stunning. Thanks for taking the time to have a look.
Hi,
Wow, fantastic pictures, but OMG it looks scary to be up there. 🙂
I agree with the scary part. I have trouble up a ladder, so I’m not sure I could even think about doing this. Thanks for the comment
Thanks for taking the time to comment, and so true about how good these shots are. Knowing Toronto probably also makes you more appreciative of the skill. (Nice blog you run)
Breathtaking shots. Makes me miss Toronto.
