Vancouver artist Ross Penhall says his manicured landscapes reveal mankind’s inherent desire to modify and shape their surroundings. The bold, unconventional paintings eliminate human beings, leaving only their traces, in groomed trails, clipped hedges, winding roads and orderly flora.
